On Saturday 6 June, we facilitated a visit of the Khwela Community based organization from Khayelitscha, friends and family of the Kalk Bay community, the Shark Spotters and the public. The diverse group enjoyed the Shark Dreams play presented by Jungle Theatre, the penguins from SANCCOB were an enormous hit, not to mention the time spent on the beach at Dalebrook. Our thanks to Cape Town Tourism and the teams for enabling this wonderful event.
On Monday 8 June, Lindy addressed the learners of Wynberg Boys’ Junior School at their Monday assembly on Ocean Day. The invitation was extended by Mrs. Bauer and the learners were enthusiastic and joined in with gusto. We were blessed with a donation from the grade 5 learners’ community work kitty and we thank them enormously for the funds.
