Save Our Seas was happy to read the WildAid report about the campaign ‘Say No To Sharkfin Soup’, partly funded by the Save Our Seas Foundation. Several Chinese celebrities were involved in this campaign, among others Yao Ming, a famous professional basketball player, who addresses the general audience and asks people to say no to sharkfin soup. WildAid is planning more PSA’s, and is collaborating with the National State News Agency Xinhua to provide media content. A considerable breakthrough! The organization was also successful in establishing partnerships with many other organizations, companies and television stations.
