The biggest asset to date in the early stages of the SOSSC has been our ‘man of mystery’, who goes by the name of Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo has thrown himself into all aspects of the house with tireless enthusiasm, arranging men and woman for volunteer work, giving advice on the building and all technical aspects, arranging a computer team to service the new PC’s at the centre, and in fact handling just about anything that needs to be handled. He is also crafting a custom-designed piece of furniture for the centre, and he’s doing the shelving for the dive-team equipment and books. His only condition is that he remains completely anon. We managed to get a pic, above, of Bilbo today, this is about as much as you will get.
