Seal rescues have become part of our lives at SOS Shark Centre. From time to time the centre is called upon to assist with the rescue of tiny seals and this was my first exposure to this. Marine educators including Verona, Glen, Lesley and Charmaine (SOS 021- 788 4778), Paul Arends (City of Cape Town) and Francois (Seal Alert, Hout Bay 0781529162) are well versed in what is needed to affect a rescue and should be your first point of contact. Please be aware that this is a specialist rescue and rehab matter and you need to work with those that are able to assist.
