Our friends at Wetpixel have posted news that there will be an exclusive screening of "Man to Manta", a new ITV documentary, held in London’s May Fair Hotel on Thursday 24 March 2011 at 7.30pm. There will be an introduction by Martin Clunes (Doc Martin, Reggie Perrin, Men Behaving Badly), the presenter of the documentary.
"Man to Manta" follows Clunes as he "seeks to fulfil a burning ambition to swim with one of the sea’s most enormous and enigmatic creatures," and features Dr Andrea Marshall and her SOSF-sponsored work through the Marine Megafauna Foundation.
The screening will be for 200 people and tickets are available now online for £24 and include a ticket-holder prize draw and the chance to bid on exclusive items, so if you’re in London, head on over to reserve your place — all proceeds from this fundraiser will go to support marine conservation organisations.
