The SOSF Keystone Grant application for the 2015/2016 is now open, with a deadline of April 30, 2014 at 18:00 CET. Funding through this program is allocated on an annual basis with the option to apply for continued funding every year, with a usual project duration limited to three years. Grants average 25’000 USD per annum.
The grant application process consists of a two stage online application process: Stage I involves completion of a short online form, equivalent to about 4-6 pages. Stage II, on invitation only based on Stage I application, will involve completion of a longer and more detailed form, equivalent to about 10-12 pages.
Save Our Seas Foundation funds projects with strong research, conservation and/or education components. Projects should integrate at least two of these components, and the focus is on charismatic marine megafauna, and particularly Sharks, Rays and Skates.
