Save Our Seas Foundation presents new science team

We’re excited to announce the new Save Our Seas Foundation science team, which will be overseeing SOSF-funded research projects following the retirement of former Chief Scientist Dr Rupert Ormond. The following is an excerpt from the official press release:

As per July 1st, 2011, Save Our Seas will work with a Scientific Team, consisting of Sarah Fowler, Dr. Mark Meekan and Alison Kock. While Sarah Fowler will act as a principal scientist, Dr. Mark Meekan will supervise a number of Save Our Seas supported projects in the Indian Ocean, Micronesia, Australia and species-specific projects. Alison Kock will be responsible for all projects in South-Africa and all projects focussing on great white shark research and certain related projects.
