The oceans need our help.

Here are some ways you can get involved.

The Oceans Need Our Help

Do you have 1 minute?

Help us spread the word. Talk to your friends and family about the threats our oceans face, join our Facebook group, or follow us on Twitter for regular updates on marine conservation issues and the work we're doing.

Become a Friend of the Ocean. We'll send you monthly email updates about marine conservation news and our work in the field.

Support our work by donating. Every year, we sponsor dozens of research, conservation, awareness and education projects around the world. To date, we've funded over a 100 projects in 37 countries.

Do you have 10 minutes?

Read a sustainable seafood guide. Here are a few good options (and stay tuned for our own guide!):

Share it with all the non-vegans you know. By choosing to avoid unsustainably-sourced seafood, you play a role in limiting overfishing and habitat destruction.

Start learning about how you can limit your environmental impact. On a collective scale, making small changes in our daily lives can add up to a large positive effect on the marine environment.
