Marine Explorers enjoying the summer

Our Marine Explorers having been having fun in the sea as usual – the current group, from Capricorn Primary School, has spent the first term of 2016 surfing at Muizenberg. We’ve been fortunate to have had warm weather and water and great beginner’s surf – the perfect recipe for our already enthusiastic explorers to grow their love for the ocean! As always, we are grateful to UCT Underwater Club for supporting the youngsters in the water, and to Xpression on the Beach for the use of their boards.

UCT Underwater Club volunteers join us every Friday, to help keep it safe (and fun) in the water.

We’re starting to look forward to next term already – we’ve tried on the gear and are getting ready to snorkel!
