Celebrating Mandela Day

Executives from the Passenger Rail Association of South Africa (Prasa) and the Mary Kihn School for the Deaf joined us for their Mandela Day Outing. The learners were given informations sessions, provided with refreshments and taken to the beach at the Dalebrook Marine Sanctuary to explore.

It’s always a little daunting when faced with such a large group of learners, especially when those learners are hearing impaired. However this group taught us that they are more than capable of participating in the same way that our visitors from mainstream schools are.

We were honoured to celebrate Mandela Day with them.
