After our hugely successful deployment trip, we have put together a quick video showing the station deployment, tagging and white sharks! You can view it here:

We are heading out again in April to pick these stations up and download the data, re-deploying the stations and we are also tagging at all three locations at that time. It should be a very exciting trip!

What makes this trip all the more exciting is that we have been given permission to tag sharks at both Dangerous Reef and Liguanea Island. We have not been able to tag at Dangerous Reef for over 5 years, and white sharks have never been scientifically recorded and tagged at Liguanea Island,  so we are looking forward to seeing if there are any familiar sharks at these sites, and getting some tags in to track their movements too.
