Sharks on Film

Our Sharks for the Future film is almost complete! We’ve compiled compelling footage of our Indonesian shark conservation campaign and secured Nicholas Saputra—one of Indonesia’s leading actors and a diving enthusiast—to narrate the story.
The 23-minute film—produced with support from the Save Our Seas Foundation and Shark Savers, among others—will be released in early May at Raja Ampat’s 8th birthday celebration. With more than 1,000 annual attendees, the event will be the perfect venue to debut the film to a large, local audience. Afterwards, the film will tour the country, with screenings scheduled for Coral Triangle Day in June (held in conjunction with the World Oceans Day celebration) and the Raja Ampat festival in October.
As we continue to campaign to protect Indonesia’s sharks, our field staff will host individual showings to ensure as many community members as possible view the film and join our efforts.
Stay tuned to learn how you can catch a glimpse of the video!
