To request a screener DVD e-mail footage@saveourseas.com along with a description of the species, locations or behaviour that you are interested in. More detailed requests can be compiled and dispatched more quickly. Screeners will be delivered as QuickTime files on DVD(s). QuickTime’s have burned in time-code, tape name and number. Screeners can also be delivered on HDCAM, DV, or mini-DV tape. There is a charge for screener tapes but not for DVD screeners. The cost of a screener will be reimbursed in the event of a sale.
To streamline your request, you can provide us with courier account details to ship your screener with.
For smaller or urgent requests, QuickTime files can be uploaded to your FTP or sent to you via ‘Yousendit’.
The SOSF HD Productions footage archive contains underwater and topside high-definition video gathered on numerous expeditions to some of the most pristine marine environments on the planet. The library features a wide variety of species, new behaviour and pioneering scientific research. Our library is an ever-increasing resource that is utilized by many networks and production companies. SOSF footage has featured in natural history feature films and documentaries for the BBC, National Geographic, PBS, Discovery and ZDF amongst many others. All footage originated from Sony HDW F-900 & F-900R Cine Alta cameras. Footage is shot at the frame rate of 59.94i.
